Festival REady
I know it’s only early spring back in the States (although we’re in the full heat of summer here in Guatemala) but don’t you just want to take those first flowers and turn them into adorable crowns for your hair? Festival season is upon us and the looks for 2015 borrow heavily from ones that were popular during Woodstock, that first major festival.

The ‘70s are back, baby, and we are loving it.

The awesome thing about this festival season is that with boho chic  all the rage again, your festival gear can be for more than just those couple of days this summer.

So if you’re dreaming of fringe swishing around your hips, flowing patterned pants, and crop tops, you’ve come to the right place. We have just the accessories to pull together your perfect boho look, whether you’re rocking it in front of the stage at Coachella or strutting your summer fashion through the streets of your city.

Let’s start with the most important part of your body, considering how much dancing you’re going to be doing: your feet.

San Juan Booties
San-Juan-Bootie-Product-Shot
Our number one absolute favorite shoe for festival season this year is our San Juan Bootie. The region of San Juan is known for its bright embroidered fabrics that lean heavily on canary yellows with red, purple, green, and blue highlights – very psychedelic. It’s a popular print in Guate right now and our design incorporates a classic cowboy boot front with a very 2015 fringe on the back. They’re also slip-ons and flat, so your feet will be looking fab and feeling great no matter how many DJs you’re seeing that day.

Trenza Cut-Outs
TRENZA CUTOUT BOOT BROWN

The brown Trenza Cut-Outs were the first Uxibal shoes I bought and I can personally vouch for their comfort, versatility, and cuteness. The open sides mean your feet will stay cool in even the hottest sun and the braided straps pull envious glances when I’m maneuvering the treacherous cobblestones of Antigua. They also have a secret: behind that cut gold zipper, the boot is lined with gorgeous handwoven fabric.

Oh, they also come in black and grey, so you can pair them with anything from cut off shorts to full length, batik dresses.

Fringe Heels!
Brown-Fringe-Clog-1

The fringe clogs are new this season and Britini, our founder, can’t take them off. They come in both dark and light brown suede or black with gold studs up the side and wooden heel that couldn’t be more ‘70s glam.

We also have leather clogs with an ankle strap and a removable fringe that takes them from day to night. Rock them with anything from skinny jeans and a cute crop top to a flowing linen skirt. They come in the same San Juan fabric, black, or brown.

Gladiator Sandals
Suede-Gladiators-Black

And finally, if your feet get a little, um, moist in the summer heat, definitely check out our brand new Gladiator sandals in suede for a cool look that keeps you fresh. The wedge heel is low enough that you won’t end up with a broken ankle if things get a little rowdy and the classic shape goes with pretty much anything.

And, of course, you’re going to want to a badass bag to lug everything around in. While any of our bags are perfect for festivals, here are our favorites this year:

Lidia Trenza Tote
Lidia-Trenza-Tote
Pair those Trenza Cut-Outs with a Lidia Trenza tote. The soft suede weighs next to nothing so you can pack it full of flower crowns, fringed over-shirts for when it gets chilly, and a water bottle to stay hydrated. The braids up the side plus the hand-embroidered strap that takes a full day to weave bring that boho look full force.

Get it in black or brown and bring it everywhere.

Chi Chi Fringe Cross-body

Fringe is all the rage these days and the Chi Chi bag delivers. Photos of this little beauty can’t truly communicate how beautiful it moves and how incredible it will look when you’re dancing the night away. The zigzag fabric from Chichicastenango is a little more subdued than most to counterbalance that fringey drama but it’s still Mayan-fabulous to the extreme.

This little sweetie is perfect for those times when all you really want to keep track of is your ID, a little bit of cash, and your lipstick.
